About Us

Falcon Test Engineers, (formerly Falcon Engineering), was established in June 1988 to provide manufacturers and shippers of dangerous goods with an independent, cost and time effective, confidential test facility. Located in Melbourne, Australia it is one of the few laboratories of its type in Australasia and Asia that is NATA accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 in the field of mechanical testing that specializes in packages for dangerous goods.

Because of the specialised needs of many manufacturers, importers and shippers, Falcon Test Engineers has extended its services to include a wide range of mechanical, materials and component testing and a technical consultancy service.

Laboratory Accreditation

Our accreditation by The National Association of Testing Authorities Australia (NATA) is a comprehensive national laboratory accreditation system under which it prescribes the conditions to be met for accreditation and examines test facilities to ensure that their quality management systems and laboratory codes of practice conform to national and international test standards. Falcon Test Engineers is also an ISTA certified laboratory.
