Laboratory Accreditation
The National Association of Testing Authorities Australia (NATA) is a comprehensive national laboratory accreditation system under which it prescribes the conditions to be met for accreditation and examines test facilities to ensure that their quality management systems and laboratory codes of practice conform to national and international test standards.
Falcon Test Engineers is NATA accredited to ISO/IEC 17025, the highest internationally recognised accreditation a test laboratory can achieve. Our accreditation covers the following Standards and Regulations.
- The United Nations Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods
- The Australian Code for the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road and Rail (ADG Code)
- International Air Transport Association's (IATA) Dangerous Goods Regulations (including packaging for infectious substances and biological products.)

Laboratory Conditions And Environment
The following conditions and environment can be achieved by the laboratory:- Packages, IBCs and Segregation devices weighing up to 3,000 kg.
- Conditioning between temperatures of -40o to + 60o C
- Hydraulic Testing up to 10,000 kPa
- Compression and Tensile Testing up to 20 tonne with programmable cyclic loading
- Vibration Testing.
- 50 mm/hr simulated rain test

FALCON TEST ENGINEERS provides its clients with the following services:- Test Certificates and Laboratory Reports with photographic record
- DVD of relevant tests in progress if required
- Allows witnessing of tests in progress by client or their representative if required
- Packages tested with substitute products approved by the Competent Authority that best simulate characteristics of most dangerous goods products and provide consistent results
- Attainment of UN approvals for packages from the Competent Authority
